Carrot Halwa Cake is a an easy recipe with desi twist
Add baking powder, baking soda, salt in wholewheat flour and sift it 4 to 5 times.
Take a deep bowl add oil, dates powder and 1/2 cup carrot halwa with cardamom powder and 1/2 cup milk and use a beater or hand blender to mix it.
Now oil the baking tin and also put the oven in preheat mode.
Gradually mix the dry flour in the wet mix and keep folding it. If it is gets too dry add more milk.
Add some more halwa at the end and mix the batter in cut and fold method.
Now pour the batter in the tin and bake for 30 to 35 mins at 180 degrees.
Prick a knife or tooth pick to check if its done from inside. Do not open the over door before time to check and also let the cake sit in oven for 10 mins and then take it out and let it cool completely before de-moulding.
Now with 1 tbsp of milk heat the cream of malai and add little sugar/condensed milk and spread over the cake and then sprinkle the almonds on the top.
Cut and serve every piece of healthy yet heavenly happiness.
