In a bowl mash bananas, add oil , yoghurt, dry dates powder , vanilla essence and whisk well. Keep this aside.
In a seperate bowl mix suji, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Gently mix them all. Put the oven on preheat at this point.
Now gradually start mixing the dry powder in the wet oil and banana mix. Keep combining in one direction.
The strokes should be such that they fill in the air to the batter. However do not over combine it too. Add the raisins too and mix gently.
Take a baking dish and put a baking sheet. This step would help in easily taking out the cake later on.
Pour the batter and sprinkle cardamom powder on top.
Bake this cake for 20 mins on 180 degrees. Do your knife test after 20 mins and if it shows done. let the cake rest in the oven till it cools down.
De-mould and cut into cubes and serve with hot cup of milk or tea in evening.
