Take a bowl and add Sattu, salt, cumin powder, chat masala , coriander and water to make a lump free semi liquid like consistency.
Meanwhile heat the pan add 1 tsp of oil and saute cumin seeds, garlic, chillis and onions for a minute.
Add the Sattu mixture and cook on medium flame with consistent stirring till water evaporates and it becomes like a dough and sticks to each other.
Put the dough on a platform and knead it with light hands as it cools down.
Add lemon juice and check the seasonings and with some water in hand make small patties or tikkis.
Smear some oil with brush on the pan and cook the tikkis evenly both side.
Once they are done serve them hot with any of your favorite chutney.
This Sattu Tikki is protein rich and low in carbs hence can also be a good dinner option.
