Tofu Palak

Tofu Palak or Palak Tofu ? What’s in the name 🙂

As long as it’s healthy, it is good to be here. My family is huge fan of Palak Paneer so for me to move them to Tofu this was the easiest bet. Not that I don’t love Paneer but if you want to get the right nutrition from Palak or Spinach then may be avoid dairy. Spinach is a rich source of Iron and the Calcium from dairy or Paneer inhibits the absorption of Iron. Hence Soya protein which is in Tofu is a better option. Taste is a little different but if made properly it does have its own tasty version which you would love too.

I have posted couple of recipes of Tofu in past too and they all taste great. As long as you season them well, it comes out nice. This recipe is rich in Iron and Protein content and is good for all age groups. It is perfect for Vegans as well as any one who is looking for Gluten free and Low carb diet also.
