Baked Masala Gobhi

Baked Masala Gobhi is an easy peasy recipe which even kids would love to make and offcourse eat. During lockdowns when you have loads of work at home and you don’t have an external help plus your own work, cooking can be tiresome. But then how much would simple blanching and marination take?

Yes..its a simple way to cook meal which is healthy too. You can skip blanching and go for steaming too, that is even more better nutritionally. The out come of recipe remains same as long as marination is good. Remember this simple baked masala gobhi goes well with dal and rice too. You can also roll this up in a chapati and serve your folks or just mix some steamed rice and make a pulav.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cauliflower Florets
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Tandoori Masala
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • 1 tbsp Jowar Flour
  • 1 tsp Jaggery
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves

Instructions

  1. First of all either blanch or steam cauliflower florets. Remember not to cut them very small.

  2. Now make a mix of curd, chilli powder, cumin powder, salt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp jaggery and 1 tbsp of jowar flour.

  3. Now add the florets and let it marinate for 30 mins at min.

  4. Then add some oil and preheat the oven and bake in a baking tray at 200 degrees for 20 mins.

  5. Later add some fresh coriander leaves and serve.

  6. You can also saute it in a pan and let it get roasted nicely.
