This time for Holi we bring you Thandai cookies. Don’t they sound interesting? Trust me you would love the flavour too. They are a typical fusion based cookies and the taste of all the mixed masalas just takes these to next level. Here is the recipe for Thandai Masala.I did adjust the black pepper and skipped poppy seeds as my son isn’t very fond of that, so you are free to make those changes.

Ok so what is so special about Thandai? This is a drink offered during Holi and as its still winters the mixture of nuts , pepper and fennel make a great combination for the body So the cookies too provide a good nutrition being a combination of wholewheat with nuts here. For added nutrition you can feel free too add some pistachios too. I did and it didn’t change the taste but does add the goodness needed. So overall these Thandai Cookies are not just good to taste but also great for strength. Well for me getting a pass on my cookies are mostly dependent on my 9 year old boy. So when he tasted it and asked me to make more and stack for his school time, I knew the experiment worked. The goodness of these Thandai cookies is that they are loaded with nuts and made with wholewheat flour, ghee and jaggery.

What more to ask for a desi version of cookies which are so suited for the occasion too.
