Veggie Sticks with Protein Dip turned out to be a great combination of breakfast. Now here is why I made it..a little secret :).
So I missed my workout session because I had few meeting lined up early in the day and I knew I would end up having coffee and late lunch etc. So then I though of skipping carbs in morning and having this instead and trust me the spices made the vegetables so tasty that I couldn’t resist eating all of them. Offcourse that protein dip is my all time favourite and I can have it anytime of the day. Infact this Veggie Sticks with Protein Dip can work as great filling in rotis for kids and I am sure they would love it.
Now that gives me an idea to work on that recipe soon and share with more detailed views, what say?
Ok so lets get to the recipe of Veggie Sticks with Protein Dip .
Veggie Sticks with Protein Dip
Ingredients
- 1 Carrot
- 1 Zucchini
- 1/2 tsp Rock Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Chilli Flakes
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Mixed Herbs
- 1/2 cup Cottage Cheese
- 1 tsp Garlic
- 1 tbsp Yoghurt
- 2 Walnuts Chopped
- 1 tsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 tsp Flax seeds Powder
Instructions
For protein dip take a mixer and add cottage cheese, yoghurt , flax seeds powder, black pepper , garlic and mixed herbs and make a fine paste. Add finely chopped walnuts and chilli flakes and mix well again and keep aside.
Cut carrot and zucchini in thin stips and transfer them in a bowl.
Now add, salt, black pepper, mixed herbs, garlic powder, onion powder and olive oil into the bowl and give it a nice mix so all the spices get coated on vegetables
Preheat over for 2 mins and then transfer these sticks on a baking tray and bake it for good 15 mins on 180 degree Celsius. You can later grill it for 3-5 mins too.
Serve these baked sticks along with the protein dip you made and enjoy.
