Jowar Uttapam

Jowar Uttapam is a quick fix and healthy option for you to tryny time of the day 🙂 .

Lockdown infact gave me lots of opportunity to try out things and recipes which I hadn’t for longest time. Most of them ended up in being easy peasy recipe which offcourse are healthy too.

Millets or here Jowar is not just protein rich but high in fibre , is gluten free and also helps in controlling sugar levels. It’s easily digestible and Jowar itself is so tasty that you can not stop eating on it. Jowar Uttapam with vegetables is like a food and adding some home made chutney makes is yummy too.

Good thing about Jowar Uttapam is that they are quick fix and are instant. Trust me you would love making these again and again. Also I used my mini uttapam pans because then its easy to make multiple ones for everyone and then enjoy it together. If you don’t have mini uttapam pan, you can make it in your regular pans and enjoy it. After all its just an uttapam what matters is the taste as long as you cook it well. When making for kids, feel free to add some cheese etc to make it more exciting, though my 9 year old loves eating just like that.
