Makhana Cookies was a trial which happened on a monday, just because I was fasting and wanted to have a bite on a cookie. It turned out to be super yum, cripsy from outside and chewy from inside. Just the way I like it. Offcourse this has no butter but I did use ghee instead. However what was interesting that they came out fine without baking powder or baking soda too.
I guess I am fine as long as the texture and taste is as per my expectations. My son loved these Makhana Cookies too and as they cooled down they started tasting even better. I would highly recommend as Makhana is rich in Calcium and very good for bones and growing kids too. Adjust the sweetness of Date powder as per your taste and enjoy every bite of these Makhana Cookies .
