And here is the first post of 2019 and I am so thrilled to start it with you all on a healthy note. However I tried this recipe last year, but waited to enter into 2019, before I could post it.

The beauty of the recipe is the pasta sauce which in this case is home made and that just helps to control all the preservatives etc which could have been easily added in this recipe. Secondly if you don’t have pasta sauce you can try some garlic and tomato puree cooked with some oregano seasonings too. That too would taste good 

This is a perfect evening snack as well as morning breakfast options for all those who are calorie conscious and want to keep a check on what they are eating. Trust me you would crave for these more than ever once you try them!! 

Zucchini Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 Zucchini
  • 2 tbsp Pasta Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Paneer
  • 2 tbsp Sprouts
  • 1/4 tsp Chilli Flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Flaxseeds Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Mixed Herbs
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Grated Cheese

Instructions

  1. Slice Zucchini into 1/2 inches thick roundels and sprinkle some salt and oil over it.

  2. Now spread some pasta sauce, then some sprouts and paneer crumbles, chilli flakes, flaxseeds powder, mixed herbs and then last grated cheese.

  3. Bake this in over at 180 degree Celsius for some 10 mins and then serve immediately.
