Here is a very simple recipe on Protein Sandwiches ,which is protein loaded but wait though it looks like cheese loaded too..trust me it isn't.  I have had many requests from people who wanted protein specific food and then I thought of this filling, which you can use even with roti or add some more sprouts and seasonings and have as salad. The colors make it exciting and you must definitely try this out.

Incase you are fond of chutneys, add some green mint and coriander and that would go perfectly with this yumsome Protein Sandwiches.

Ingredients
  1. Wholewheat bread: 2 slices (sides trimmed)
  2. Moong Sprouts: 2 tbsp
  3. Garlic: 1 tsp chopped
  4. Cumin powder: 1/2 tsp
  5. Cottage cheese: 2 tbsp grated
  6. Boiled egg :1
  7. Chat masala: 1 tsp
  8. Salt: to taste
  9. Black pepper: 1/4 tsp
  10. Tomato: 3-4 thin slices
  11. Cheese: 1 tsp grated(optional)
  12. Tomato: 2 tbsp finely chopped
  13. Coriander: 1 tbsp chopped.
  14. Olive oil: 1/2 tsp
Instructions
  1. Heat oil and then garlic and next saute chopped tomatoes into it.
  2. At this point add the sprouts and cook for few seconds
  3. Once they are done add cottage cheese and cumin powder and mix.
  4. Add salt, black pepper, coriander leaves and mix well.
  5. Now take it off the flame and add grated egg white and chat masala and mix well.
  6. Now layer a tomato slice and then this mixture and close the sandwich and cook on dry pan.
  7. Serve it red chutney and let them enjoy the powder breakfast.
