Have you tried Hung curd veg sandwich before?

Neither did I.

For me its my healthy replacement of cole slaw and when I was thinking of a replacement of mayonnaise, hung curd came out as a good solution. Infact apart from all the other vegetable added as per recipe you can add chopped cabbage too for some extra crunch. Hung curd veg sandwich made a great lunch for me and I just loved its creamy taste without much of guilt. Infact Hung curd veg sandwich can make a great tiffin snack too.

Ingredients
  1. Bread slices :4
  2. Capsicum: 2 tbsp fine chopped
  3. Onions: 2 tbsp fine chopped
  4. Tomato: 1 deseeded and chopped
  5. Carrot: 1 tbsp grated
  6. Green Chilli: 1 chopped
  7. Coriander: 1 tsp chopped
  8. Hung curd: 2 tbsp
  9. Oregano: ½ tsp
  10. Black pepper: 1/2tsp
  11. Black salt: as per taste
  12. Cheese spread: 1 tsp
  13. Butter: ½ tsp (optional)
Instructions
  1. Add chopped veggies to hung curd along with carrot (squeezed properly) and mix well.
  2. Add seasonings ,coriander, cheese spread and butter and mix it well.
  3. Now spread it on the bread slice and cover it with other one.
  4. Grill the sandwich and serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
