JABELEEEEEE tats how my son use to refer to this mouth watering and popular street food called JALEBI….and as they say twist it like a Jalebi…trust me only when you would have this ‘out of the world’ dessert you would understand the addiction. Even as I write this my mind just pictures myself indulging in the sweet aroma of Jalebi…ok so let me get back to the story here
My mom once surprised me with this scrumptious sweet dish which she made and so was the taste that it is still so fresh . It was Jalebi Kheer..yes not many people make it but north indians can closely relate with Rabri being served along with Jalebi with off course touch of my mom’s hand. Now honestly I tried it many times to replicate the taste but wasn’t that successful however it still tastes good and you should give it a try whenever next time you have a sweet craving. This made me realise moms are always the best cooks and Jalebi is good whichever way you want to have it. I might sound like a true Jalebi lover but then being foodie is my foodie makes you love such beautiful man made sweetness.
And for once lets just forget the calories and relish the devine taste..trust me you wouldn’t regret having Jalebi Kheer.
