Not very often we see three year olds baking..but it isn’t a new thing if its #OvenderfulMomsCommunity. Recipe Dabba did a healthy baking campaign with this enthusiastic group of moms and the results were yumsome!! Here is one such recipe from Suganya Ayyapam and her bundle of joy, Arjun in her own words:  

#CookWithRD…Here is our recipe of eggless wheat cake with mixed nuts for Baking Champs with my 3yr old son Arjun karthik .This is a maida free cake recipe with a mixed nuts (I used here is cashews , almond,walnuts )and fresh cream cheese topping(decorated with fruits available ). So here’s the recipe:

Ingredients

2 cup Wheat flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup Milk
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp vanilla Essence
1/4 cup butter
1 cup chopped nuts

For Topping:

2 cups sugar
1tbsp vanilla essence
1/4 cup butter, softened
4 ounce cream cheese

Instructions

Preheat oven to 180 degree c

In a large mixing bowl . Mix dry ingredients.

Add butter,milk and vanilla essence to the dry ingredients. Mix it.

Prepare a smooth batter and add the chopped nuts and mix it.

Pour the batter into a greased baking tin .

Bake it in a preheated oven for 35 minutes .

Once cake is baked, take it out from the oven and de-mould it. let it cool completely.

Once the cake cool completely apply the cream topping and decorate with some fresh fruits
