Green Apple Raita

Green Apple Raita is easy and super healthy recipe. One recipe we all should make once. Beauty of Green Apple Raita is that it can be done in a jiffy and you can add various combinations with it. While this recipe majorly talks about onion, you can add tomatoes or boiled potatoes too. I mean most things would compliment the flavor of green apple and would go well too.

This raita , I served with some Chana Dal Pulav and it went very well. Infact the whole idea of making Pulav was to save effort on making separate dal and then this raita made me skip salad. He He , Yes…I always look for such shortcuts in my recipes. Lockdown has made me work on such stuff more. Somethings which are simple to make and yet nutritious and complete too.

If you don’t have green apple, you can add red apple too but I somehow love the tangy and sweet flavor of green. But red apple can be a great substitute too. Also the good part is that the recipe is so simple that you can hardly mess up. Remember to add the tempered onions and not raw because raw would add little pungent taste . So go ahead make your favourite pulav with this Green Apple Raita.
