Custard Apple Kheer

If you love custard apple, you surely would love this recipe of Custard Apple Kheer. Like most of the other recipes, this is super easy too. However only if you can separate the custard apple pulp from the seeds :).

A simple trick for this is use a spoon and a sieve and press the custard apple seeds with spoon over a sieve. This would easily be able to separate pulp and seeds. The good thing is that after that is done, its super simple to do. Many times, I make my son do this hard work because he loves custard apple and happily volunteers for the same.

You must try this recipe till we have custard apple in season as nothing like enjoying seasonal delights. Good thing about this recipe is that this hardly needs any sugar. All thanks to the natural sweetness custard apple has. You can enjoy every spoon of flavor from this Custard Apple Kheer. While this was made using regular milk , you can however use almond milk too.

The cashew paste makes the milk thicker . Hence you don’t need any milkmaid unless you want that little extra sweetness. Also kesar and cardamom are a great combination and with chia seeds you make this even more healthier and tasty too.
