Brownie Balls has been on my mind for quite sometime. I first saw something similar on pinterest and since then wanted to give a try to this combination. But due to severe lockdown in Mumbai had to really wait for long to have my supplies in place. They are not just super delicious but are also extremely healthy.

Since I made this for my boy I added a little chocolate for a closer taste too, but otherwise you can completely skip it. For adults cocoa and dates will do the job. Coating these lovely Brownie Balls with some powdered pistachios and almonds just gave some extra zing and added nutrition too.

The only thing is since the base is Walnuts which do get rancid soon , its important to store this in refrigerator and finish in a week at max. I always prefer to make sweets in small portions as that keeps a check on the intake and also gives me opportunity to try out something new soon. Also making things in smaller portions makes sure we don’t store it for too long and hence not lose the goodness and taste.

Another good part is that this recipe is gluten free, vegan and rich in iron and protein. So you can go ahead and enjoy this whenever you want.
