Lockdown times are not easy. Specially when it comes to food choices. Curd Rice has been my partner during this lockdown like a good old friend. Whenever not in mood to do even basic chopping, oh this is just the thing to fix. Everyone in family loves this and what more can you ask for.

The goodness of curd rice is well know and incase you want to top it up with some raw veggies, feel free to chop cucumber, tomatoes and onions on it. Infact some roasted peanuts too would taste great on it. Honestly when you make something as simple as Curd Rice, adding anything over it will enhance the taste. Unless you are lazy like me and what to stick to simple Curd Rice.

Curd Rice is originally a south indian dish and you would find this in almost every south indian menu. However being a North Indian I always loved mixing my rice with curd and have it. Just like that! It’s only much later did I realise that how much popular dish is it.

I never added this on my blog, because I felt it’s a very simple recipe and most people would know. But then lockdown is the time for these simple and authentic recipes. Recipes which a healthy and use limited ingredients is all what we are seeking today. On that note let’s go to the recipe.
