Here we bring these amazing Makhana Ladoos which will blow your mind. I loves ladoos for the reason that they are handy way to packing nutrition without my fuss and while our kids are always on a go, popping these small balls is never too much.

Well Makhana is rich in calcium and hence good growing kids , lactating mothers and women in general too. Now Makhana is popular as a fasting snack however it has so much more to give us and these ladoos will make you believe this for sure. Ingredients

  • 2 cups Makhana
  • 1/2 cup Musk Melon Seeds
  • 1/2 cup Almonds
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/2 cup Organic Jaggery Powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Dried Cherries

Instructions

  1. Dry roast almonds and muskmelon seeds on slow to medium flame separately and keep aside. 

  2. Now heat 1 tbsp of ghee and roast makhanas into it for good 5 mins till they are crispy.

  3. Now transfer these makhanas while they are still warm to a grinder along with almonds , muskmelon seeds, jaggery powder, cinnamon, cherry  and one more tbsp of ghee and run the mixer for one minute.

  4. You would get gooey powder which you transfer in a plate and with hand make small ladoos while the mixture is still warm.

  5. Serve it with some crushed dried cherries and they go perfectly well to start the day in morning.
