Ingredients
- 1 cup idli batter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 cup mushrooms(chopped)
- 3 tbsp bell pepper(chopped)
- 2 tsp flax seeds (powder)
- 1 tbsp tomato (puree)
- 1/2 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp cheese (grated)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
Mix chilli flakes, 1 tsp flax seeds, 1/2 tsp oregano, 1/2 tsp salt in idli batter
Take a flat steamer plate and pour the batter evenly and steam it for 15 mins till its cooked and forms a 1/2 inch thick cake
Take cookie cutter and cut out small shapes from this savoury idli cake
Now heat olive oil and saute garlic and then add tomato puree, sugar and salt and cook till its done
Now add mushrooms and saute till its done and then sprinkle black pepper powder, oregano, rest of flax seeds powder and at the end lemon juice
Take this mixture and top it up on the idli cut outs and add little grated cheese and bake it for 5 mins on 180 degrees before serving hot.
