Zucchini Daliya Sandwich is one interesting twist to your regular Daliya recipe. Now this can offcourse be given as Daliya itself but a sandwich can make it little more exciting. I did this the bite size portions with my son and he approved it. Now this is what I call a good recipe.
Kids these days aren't easy to please and moms are simply going all over scouting healthy options for them. I am no different. As much as I love creating these recipes, finding out new ones is a regular job for me and I must say, I love it. So the other day when I realised it was a while since we had daliya, I thought of trying my hands with Zucchini Daliya Sandwich. Not to mention, my son has likeliness for Zucchini and he enjoys the crunch in the vegetable. Actually it does sorts lot many problems since he has adapted to this taste of this vegetable now.
So here is the recipe for Zucchini Daliya Sandwich and we hope you enjoy trying this for your little one.
- Whole wheat bread: 2 slices
- Daliya/Broken Wheat: 2 tbsp soaked for 2 hrs
- Garlic:1 tsp chopped
- Onions: 2 tbsp chopped
- Tomato: 2 tbsp chopped
- Zucchini: 1/2 chopped
- Capsicum: 2 tbsp chopped
- Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder: 1 tsp
- Kitchen king powder: 1/2 tsp
- Green Chutney: 1 tbsp
- Green Chilli: 1 chopped
- Black pepper : 1/2 tsp
- Salt: to taste
- Ketchup: 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves: 1 tsp chopped
- Oil: 1 tsp
- Grated cheese: 1 tsp
- Heat oil and add garlic and saute till light brown.
- Now saute onions and added tomatoes and capsicum.
- Cook this for a min and then add Zucchini, salt, black pepper, cumin powder and cook on medium.
- Now at this point add soaked daliya and fold it gently inside the vegetables.
- Spinkle some water and cook it covered for five minutes.
- At the stage add lemon juice and kitchen king masala.
- Add coriander leaves and let it cool.
- Now take a bread and add green chutney on one slice and ketchup on the other one
- Put the mixture in between and grate some cheese only it needed.
- Toast the sandwich and enjoy the flavors.
