Egg on Mushroom Broccoli Sauce
Egg on Mushroom Broccoli Sauce is a perfect breakfast recipe on a lazy sunday, infact it can be a great brunch meal too with some fresh fruit salad and mocktails. Last week we went SodaBottleOpenerwala and that's where we ordered it. I found it simple to adapt in a healthy way and add to me blog. Infact it came out just the way I wanted and tasted as great.
My family loved it as much and the mushroom broccoli sauce rocked more than anything else. Now the half fry off-course was cherry on the cake. - Egg :1
- Burger Bun: 1
- Mushrooms: 1 cup sliced
- Broccoli: 1/2 cup florets
- Garlic: 1 tbsp chopped
- Black pepper: 1/4 tsp
- Basil: 1/4 tsp
- Rosemary : 1/4tsp
- Milk: 1/2 cup
- Salt: as per taste
- Olive oil: 1 tsp
- Heat 1/2 tsp oil and saute garlic and then add mushrooms and broccoli and cook for a minute.
- Add all the seasonings and cook for another minute.
- Now add milk and let most of it evaporate and then keep it aside.
- Adjust seasonings if required.
- Toast the bun and keep it on the serving plate.
- Now break the egg and make a half fry egg in a small pan ( I use mini uttapam pan for this).
- Spread the mushroom and broccoli sauce and then the half fry and serve hot.
