As you would read this engineer turned food and travel blogger’s story , don’t miss to enjoy some very captivating food shots.

How did Lady’s Phinger happen to you and how old is your blog?
In 2014 I stepped into blogging world where I have been sharing my travel and food stories. I am a travel freak and I strongly believe that “To travel is to live” which gives us many experiences knowing other culture, food and people. I am very much fascinated by traditional food and those old method of cooking .So I never miss any traditional dish and street food wherever I travel. After each travel ,I start experimenting in my kitchen with the new things learnt. My love for Food and Travel inspired me to start my blog.

What keeps you going as a food blogger and who inspires you?
Since childhood I have always that curiosity to know about any new thing in food .Being born and brought up in a place ,where Bengali culture was more prominent and thus I was quite familiar with Odiya & Bengali cuisine as I grew up. Though unlike others I havn’t spent much time in kitchen learning cooking from Mom those days . But after Engineering when I moved to Bangalore ,cooking became my passion. I am a self-taught cook and no matter how tiring the day might be , I always enjoy preparing my dinner .I am a foodie & I hardly hesitate to try any new dish I come across. Travel helps me a lot in knowing different cuisine & food culture. My day starts with a king-size breakfast ,so I am a person who loves to eat  and each day I got inspiration from many more recipes to try .Blogging is a way where I can share my food experiments with the world. My mom & sister inspire me at every phase of life, whether it’s blogging or taking up any new challenge in life.

What is the USP of your blog and how have you worked on it?
As street food ,traditional delicacies of any place fascinate me a lot ,so I always try to share such recipes in my blog. You can find all those heirloom recipes that I have learnt from the others in family .as I love to cook in old traditional methods. I love street-photography too which you can see in my travel stories. Currently I am doing a “101 Days Temple project on The Temple-city of India, Bhubaneswar” at Instagram. So you can also see beautiful pictures of Temples at my Instagram Page https://www.instagram.com/ladysphinger/

Do share your achievements and publications with our audience?
I have been interviewed many times by leading Newspapers in Bangalore and Delhi. I have won many Cooking Competitions. Few months back I won a Food Photography Competition too.

What has been your learning and where do we see you going in coming times?
I am still learning and I don’t think the process of learning will ever stop. As I am a food-photographer ,so I dedicate more time in that .I believe in hard-working and positive thinking.

What is your comfort-meal on a lazy day ?
Rice and fish-curry .That combination always fall in my comfort zone. And I am sea-food lover.
