This rasgulla dessert was an instant hit. However this was the result of one of my earlier recipes of Boondi in Oats where I used the leftover oats rabri with rasgulla.
Here is how this rasgulla dessert started. We were on way to pick some regular veggies when suddenly I had temptations to have rasgulla while it was raining hard. Though reluctant hubby drove me uptill the Bengali sweets shop and I picked up my spongy rasgullas. Now out of temptation I bought more than required and that's when the left over oats rabri came handy to make this rasgulla dessert.
This rasgulla dessert tastes best when chilled and though I have used blueberry jam but any other flavor too would be just great. While adding jam just be careful of the sugar content and incase you feels its little extra the chilling will save you for sure. So the rabri with blueberry flavour with combination of rasgulla and dry fruits tasted too yum. I am sure your kids too would love this rasgulla dessert and would ask for more. And you in turn can be happy about the goodness of chenna and oats together.
