Aloo Matar Paratha turned out to be simply heavenly. Infact like many of my recipes this was an accidental or I can say left over recipe. Interesting that how can someone experiment with Aloo matar paratha? Well I did and honeslty I had tried Aloo paratha's and matar parathas but never aloo matar paratha. So the other day while I was making Matar Halwa and felt that it would be more than required I saved some for Matar paratha's. But then had some boiled potatoes too hence thought of mixing the both and making some interesting masala.
So this combination was a hit and the secret was cardamom which added a different flavour. I had never used cardamom in any paratha filling but this Aloo matar paratha turned out to be very different. My family kept asking till the entire masala was finished but one ,which I saved for myself to atleast taste and write a blog here. To cut the long story short this recipe is a must try if you are a paratha fan.I offcourse use very less oil but incase you are not a healthy food freak go ahead and add some butter too.
