Strawberry Almond Phirni

Strawberry Almond Phirni !! well I had never tasted it. But was convinced that it would taste good. So the story of Strawberry Almond Phirni started from my fridge when I saw box of strawberries lying without much of attention. Though my son is fond of strawberries , I still was not sure if he would pass Strawberry Almond Phirni. But somehow milk can and strawberries together gave me this idea and I googled to find out what Sanjeev Kapoor would have done in similar situation.

Offcourse I added my jaggery twist with some almond powder to increase the nutrition and make the phirni more thicker. Strawberry Almond Phirni when chilled came out stunning and not to mention my son game me a thumbs up too. So like many good experiments this one turned out to be with happy ending. Check out the Strawberry Almond Phirni recipe which follows.
