Well what you would love this Idli Sandwich when you check our the filling. Let me tell you the story behind this Idli Sandwich as one of those days when I was working from home and was craving for something interesting and that's when Idli Sandwich came to rescue.

Now hung curd is something I always use for my dips and fillings just because it is healthy and yet tasty and smooth.And Idli Sandwich was making so easy that it hardy took me anytime. I definitely recommend it for those days when you come back tired from home and still want some interesting food or even better a sunday breakfast menu with a twist.

Ingredients
  1. Idlis: 6
  2. Hung curd: 2 tbsp
  3. Coriander/celery: 1 tbsp finely chopped
  4. Oregano: 1/2 tsp
  5. Black pepper: 1/2tsp
  6. Salt: as per taste
  7. Red pepper: 1/4 tsp
  8. Lemon juice: 1/2 tsp
  9. Butter: 1/2 tsp
  10. Tomato Sauce: 1 tbsp
  11. Curry leaves: 4
  12. Mustard seeds: 1/2 tsp
  13. Oil: 1/2 tsp
Instructions
  1. Add butter, coriander leaves, salt, pepper, oregano to the hung curd and keep aside.
  2. Now cut the idlis from the middle and put a layer of hung curd mixture and make a sandwich and cut in half.
  3. Heat oil and add mustard seeds and let it splutter with curry leaves and add tomato sauce too.
  4. Now gently add idli sandwiches and saute it in the mixture.
  5. Serve it hot with some apple juice.
