Stuffed mawa modaks are not just simple to make but the stuffing gives it a an interesting surprise.

I have kept the sugar less but you can use as per your taste and choice.Infact adding jaggery or brown sugar to Stuffed Mawa Modak can be a good choice too.Stuffed Mawa Modak is one easy but equally delicious sweet and goes well with the festive sweetness.

Ingredients
  1. Mawa/Khoya: ½ kg
  2. Powdered Sugar: 3 tbsp
  3. Cardamom Powder: 1 tsp
  4. Almonds: 15 powdered coarsely
  5. Raisins: 15
  6. Milk powder: 1 tbsp
  7. Condensed Milk: 1 tbsp
Instructions
  1. Heat a wok and add Mawa and sauté it for 10 mins.
  2. Now add sugar and cardamom powder and give it a good mix as you keep cooking it on slow.
  3. Keep mixing it while cooking it on slow for another 5 mins and then take a drop of mawa mixture between finger and try to make a ball.If you can make a ball then mixture is ready.
  4. Now pour the mixture on a flat tray and cool it for 10 mins.
  5. Meanwhile in a bowl take almond powder, raisins, milk powder and milk maid and make a soft dough.
  6. Now make small balls of a 1 mm radius with this mixture which we would stuff in Modak.
  7. Now once the mawa mixture is cooled put that in Modak mould and make a small groove and add the ball and then cover it with the mixture.
  8. Demould the Modak and serve to your guest with some powdered almond powder on top of it.
