Gobhi Manchurian

Since our childhood we have been mostly been eating Indo chinese food in name of chinese food. Gobhi Manchurian is one such dish. However that’s the beauty of being Indian spices is that they make everthing well adapted to our taste . I am sure in china they would do the same thing with our dal makhani. Jokes apart gobhi Manchurian is a crunchy yet juicy dish made out of deep fried cauliflower florets. It is a perfect blend of indian cauliflower in chinese sauce and can be a great starter or a side dish.

But wait it’s fried and that too double fried so incase you are into calorie counting just don’t indulge in making too much of it.I generally make from 6 to 7 florets and share it with my hubby so get the flavours and it saves me from the guilt of having too much oily food too.But yes incase you have guest coming over you can keep everything ready and just before you are ready to serve do a quick crisp fry and serve with the sauce.

So cmon it’s a recipe which is hassle free and mostly made of items which we have in our home.So try the sweet and sour Gobhi Manchurian for this coming weeked.
