Methi Malai Paneer

So now you know that my every third dish can be a paneer dish. Reason being in a family of vegeterians Paneer is the most lovable food item and if that has been closely related to me son he would want it everyday.

Now imagine how much you have to think to make it differently every day so as to have the excitment alive while you serve food for dinner. So one day while we ordered some food from a nearby restaurant I loved this Mathi Malai Paneer and just wanted to replicate it. However since I had apprehensions in adding so much cream I substituted it with low fat milk.Still the taste was just superb and as creamy as it would come with cream.Paneer in Methi Malai Paneer can be substituted by corn or even fried potatoes incase you are not a paneer fan like us J

And for those who love Paneer and incase are not cream averse so try the cream version to get some real creamy and rich taste. I mostly use very less oil for cooking specially if I am using cream or cashew later on just to lower down the calorie count. But when I have guest coming over don’t worry I am quite generous 😉
