So here we have this mother-daughter duo to help you learn a very interesting recipe of Mixed Millet Cookies..

What better to occupy my toddler than healthy baking during diwali vacation. Look at her excitement when cutting cookies with various shapes of cookie cutters 
Our entry for the contest – Mixedmillet cookies sweetened with Jaggery. 
Recipe adapted from morphyandme blog, modified to suite our taste.

Mixedmillet flour – 1/2 cup 
Ragi flour – 1/4 cup
whole wheat flour – 1/2 cup
Cocoa powder – 2.5 tbsp
baking powder – 1/2 tsp
softened unsalted Butter – 120gms
Grated jaggery – 3/4 cup[ Tip- there should not be any noticeable pieces of jaggery]

Mix all the above to form a dough. Cut using cookie cutter and bake at 150C for 14 mins.

Note – the cookie will be soft when taken out and will harden when cooled. Do not bake for longer else the cookie with brown.
